BEFORE YOU FINALLY FALL INTO THE TEMPTATION OF WAR.—-(3 Minutes Read)

I read this post on a friend’s timeline on facebook not quite long and I believe it is a timely message and warning for Nigeria as a country against every form of agitation, seccession,terrorism and militancy that is eaten the fabrics of our national co-existence gradually.

It read thus:

You must understand that,

Hunger will be the least of your problem,

The air will be polluted,

The Hospitals won’t function as they ought to,

Doctors and nurses will run for their lives.

 

Your structures will be brought down,

Your shops and houses will be looted,

Buying and selling becomes almost impossible,

Robbery and rape will be the order of the day,

You might have to kill to survive.

 

People will be killed, maimed,dragged behind moving vehicles,

You only know when it starts, you can never know when it ends,

The only music will be the sounds of bullet, bombs,armoured tanks and planes,

Power will surely be out,

Mobile networks will not function,

There will be ignorance everywhere,

No idea of what is happenning in the other areas,

Rumours will be the major guide,

You will lay ambush and be ambushed,

You will always be on the run,

Alway hungry,

Always tired,

As you run,your children run,

When the bomb blasts,

You run north,

Your wife run south,

Your children run in a different direction,

Your aged parents will be wheeled speedily in carts, wheel barrows and even on your backs,

Your knowledge of who your enemies are will shallow,

You will be forced to watch your family members molested,

You will become as the primitive man aboding in caves and trees,

You will automatically become a hunter,

Sometimes games will be scarce and you might end up eating lizard, rats and cockroaches etc,

Baths, change of clothes etc will be seldom,

Then you will find out “sufferring’ is in phases and the experience you had before then is like an ant before an elephant,

Your leaders will run abroad with their families,

They will supply you weapon from there and then motivate you,

They will salute your courage,If paradventure you think you are winning,

They will come from abroad and be in charge,

because, while you are worrying out to kill and not get killed,

They were abroad making more money and getting you more foreigners to steal your resources,

 

You will be approached by leaders of some countries,

They will promise to support you in exchange  of course for your natural resources,

You will agree,

They will give you weapons,

You will kill and be killed,

More aid will be sent to you to do more killings,

 

When you run out of soldiers,

Your child of fifteen,thirteen,or even ten will be resruited and drugged,

They will be taught the art of war,

They will be brain-washed and hatred will be retained in them,

They won’t remember who you are,

After many months of maiming and butchering,slaughtering,shooting and burning,

You will realize that there is no winner,

It was all just waste of time,life and resources,

At the end it shall be:

NO VICTOR, NO VANQUISHED

LET’S GO ON WITH ONE NIGERIA—GOWON.

Lets give peace a chance in Nigeria.
