The irony….(3 Minutes Read)

One of the irony of life that i found so amazing is that often times than none we are the architect of our own misfortune.

We are always compassionate about people when we observed that they are enmeshed in one challenge or the order.We are swift in trying the best within our means to help them out of their vicissitudes, problems  and predicament by pulling the resources around us to see that they break even in no distance time.

While we are busy scratching the surface by scavenging for solutions that we are ignorant of the genesis and foundation, we waste a bunch of our resources in terms of material and physical belongings and properties to serve as a source of help to the person passing through the eye of the needle at such a moment.

Someone might be asking what do i mean by “waste of resources”?

It is until when we understand that people that we are trying to help in pulling out of problem does not worth a while that we will realized that we have wasted our precious time and resources in listening to the stories of woes and deep challenges that is tossing them around, even to the extent of wasting our time in showing concern to whatever they are passing through.

At a point in my life,when i subjected myself to deep observation and truthful personal analysis, i realized vividly and clearly that a bunch of the challenges people passed through are caused by them and the reason why the challenges keeps defying possible solutions is all about the pretense and the untruthfulness of such people in accepting that they are the cause of the problem they are facing.

A fruitful marriage is the hope of every married couple but we always feel bad seeing couples that are waiting unto God for their marriage to be fruitful.Even-though,God designed and divined every creature on the surface of the earth to reproduce without any stress and delay.It is quite alarming recently seeing many marriages being denied the fulfillment of this covenant.

Most of the time, we seek the face of God for solutions for the affected couples but at a point in my life ,in the course of asking some salient questions that boiled down to reality,i was able to identify easily that many of the people enmeshed in the woes of barrenness caused it consciously or unconsciously.

You cannot maltreat another person’s child and you think GOD will be foolish enough to give you a child.The reason for your barrenness has its root and route to you not being worthy of being blessed with one by God.

How on earth do you expect God to attend to your request and petition concerning marital fruitfulness when along the line you established a creche to take care of little children but it is amazing that you treat these kids as non-human but in your foolishness you are moving from pillar to post seeking for spiritual solution concerning your predicament.

Though,my submission seems to be harsh but truth must be told.No solution is in view if your behavior and character is not in tandem with the contents of your petition to God.If you want to be blessed,it is until when you understand the essence of being a blessing to others that your desired blessings will emerge.This simply confirm the law of God as it is chronicled in the Lord’s prayer:

“forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us”

May the Lord give us understanding…..

MY yesterday….THE dawn of a new day…..

Just like never before,

every fiber of my being yearned for strength yesterday.

nothing can be compared to rest.

nothing can stand at par with what rest stand for,

Rest is good.

REST–the secret of longevity.

I didn’t believe that i will will be strengthened this morning,

The weakness that overwhelmed my body yesterday is second to none,

My blood cries out loud for rest,

My bones aches with flames of pain.

 

This morning,i realized that,

New day is marked by new strength.

No matter how stressful your day might be,

No matter how energy sapping your day might be,

It is expected of you to be happy,

at the radiance of a new day,

dawned with new  streams of strength;

dressed with new waves of vigor.

 

Often times than none,

 experience mothers revelation,

exposure fathers inspiration,

My line of revelation and inspiration this morning is,

Weakness is of yesterday,

Failure is of yesterday.

Strength is of today.

Vigor- the ambassador of  a new day.

 

Every ‘yesterday’ is marked with weakness,discouragement and failure,

Every ‘today’ is marked with strength,revelations and inspirations.

No matter how terrible and miry your past might be,

Just be calm,

Today will be better with more strength and vigor.

 

More battles shall be won,

More land shall be occupied,

Every obstacle shall be destroyed,

No more desolate coastlines and territories,

With the dawn of a new day.

VANITIES!!!

The exhibition,display and pronouncement of earthly bliss is always known and renounced with the possession of earthly mundane and material bliss.Possession of earthly material is not an evil in itself,it goes a long way in making life convenient and comfortable but how it is managed matters a lot while any one is in existence on earth.

As real as earthly possession is,but experiences of life made it known to everyone that every earthly possession has its limitation by being ephemeral and transient.No matter the value and worth of our earthly materialistic possession,often times than none,if they are not managed properly,they end up becoming a burden and an oasis of unending profligacies.

Though,the believe is loud and the conception is deeply entrenched and enshrined in our cultural norms and ethos  in African society that material possessions add to self worth. This can be submitted to be a misconception and a deceit,though it can be subjected to arguments and diverse view.Deep analysis and truthful self discovery with our inner mind will reveal that material possession do a little in adding to our self worth.

What add value to our self worth are not in any way handy and physical,values are added to our self worth when our inner value is invested to through personal self discovery that ends up in personal development.

Material possession no matter how luxurious it might last for a while,every material possession has an expiry date even our life is bound to face a kind of depreciation that will terminates in death.

You might have been in affluence of extreme material possession one time or the other and the challenges and vicissitude of life might have taken them away from you but i want you to know that the value on your life is  worth more than any value you  placed on your material possession.

Above all,material bliss is real but never allow it to rob you of eternal bliss.

Values of eternal bliss outsmarts earthly bliss.

Vanities upon Vanities,all is vanities says the preacher.

WHEN WILL GOOD PREVAIL?

The prospect and prosperity of evil with its accompanying gains are ephemeral.Although the prevalence and preference of evil over good might have been in existence for ages with its reign and ruler-ship being celebrated to high heaven by many for a long period of time with no one having the time frame when it will be over.

The ripple effects of its existence in correspondence with its multiplication in the mind of every mankind will end up producing mortals having the wall of their souls and conscience being seared with hot iron rod.

This simply inhibits the propensity of good overcoming evil with the  birth of a kind of sophistication in the form of confusion that is platformed and premised on the acceptability of the celebration of good been enshrined on the walls of individual conscience based on the concept of evil profiting more than good .

This configures mortals that will go to any extent to perpetrate evil and ensure the propagation of the message of evil as a culture and habits but the tenets and the requirement needed to be in possession of good conscience and the operation of the mind within the confines of what is generally acceptable as good in the society ends up becoming an outcast and an outlaw.

 

The only means by which the multiplicity of evil and its extension can be properly controlled,checked and curtailed is for men of good conscience and records to rise up and speak against evil with every available paraphernalia and efforts that will be geared and channeled towards banishing the presence and the emergence of evil that has eaten deep the fabrics of the society.

THERE IS…..

There is always a time when life ask us some pertinent questions pertaining to our seasons in the past.Those who are prepared will give the right answer but those who are not prepared will wallow in the regret of not having an answer to the questions life throw at them.

The questions life always throw at us are always in the past and about the past which when answered appropriately and correctly will trigger the emergence of a ‘great present’ that  transcend without any clog into a glorious future but when the questions life throw at us are not answered correctly and appropriately,it makes the  motion and movement of the past into the present to be stucked at a point with the future waiting without any result from the past.

It is a pity that many are carried away with the vagaries of the present without reckoning with the content of the past but it is a reality that no matter how long the past is covered,the present will expose it and translate its contents and context to the future.No matter how long the past run away from “the present”,there is always a day of reckoning where the past and the future will meet and this always triggers what is obtainable in the future.

No one can live in the reality of the future without the reality of the past raising its ugly head at any point in time.This depends on what we left behind in the past whether it is good or bad.The seed we left behind in the past forgetting that it can germinate will blossom and grow with its leaves budding into the present till it gets to the future.

With all these, it is pertinent for all and sundry to be cautious and courteous about how we spend today because our today is the tomorrow we dream about yesterday and our tomorrow is the future will envisage today.

Some mistakes can be erased while some remain as a scar that can never be erased.

Be warned!!!

EARLY MORNING UPDATE

The little moment we have on earthly pedestal should not be platformed on earthly treasures but it should be geared towards the attainment of heavenly treasures with no stone left unturned to spend the entirety of our time being a treasure to people around us thereby influencing our immediate environment positively and progressively.

This is the only means by which our world can be a better place for posterity and the emergence of a world where the plight of indigents and downtrodden can be taken care of with the destruction of class mentality that has been a bane to the development of an egalitarian society that will go a long way in accommodating every form of social factors that seems to be pulling the society apart before.

Many policies have been made and implemented all over the world to reduce hunger and poverty by government of many nations but the solutions to the alleviation of abject poverty in the world most especially in the third world seems to be a hard nut to crack.This simply connotes a missing gap between policy making and policy implementation.Often times than none,lip services and extreme levity are being paid to measures that will ameliorate poverty and extreme hunger ravaging humanity all over the world.

There is an urgent need to tackle the imbalance being witnessed in the distribution of resources and wealth that is on record to favour one percent of the world population that are pencilled to be stupendously wealthy while the remaining ninety-nine percent are wallowing in abject poverty.It is until when a workable policies are put in place to challenge the status quo of unbalanced wealth distribution that many of the challenges ravaging humanity can be a thing of the past.

No one should turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to the plight of the poor in the society if the desire to have a peaceful coexistence between all the inhabitants of the world is at the front burner of our yearnings in stemming down the increasing social vices,social imbalance,injustice and criminality that is obtainable everywhere in the world.

It can be observed that the unending waves of criminal reports obtainable on a daily basis have a larger portion of its root cause in hatred that boils down to the feeling of negligence and marginalization.It is until when all the inhabitants of the world are given a sense of belongings and a level playing ground that our world can witness a relative peace across the length and breadth of the earth.

Extremism and terrorism seems to be defiling every sort of solutions with new terrorist cells and organizations springing up in every nooks and crannies of the world without any visible solutions to stem down the tide due to the lip service many world leaders paid to address issues that boils down to social injustice obtainable in every stratum of the society.The fabrics of our society is been torn apart with unending desires of militants and secessionist groups to vandalize resources with unabated efforts in shedding innocent blood.  

What needs to be done should be done without any form of shyness and sluggishness on the part of every concerned authorities and policy makers to see that injustice to one is an injustice to all.Leaders on the corridors of power across the globe should live an exemplary life that teaches the essence of good leadership as it is chronicled in the scripture that anyone that wants to lead should be ready to serve.

Leadership should not be viewed as a paraphernalia for personal aggrandizement,wealth accumulations,subjugation,oppression and slavery.It should be a tool for servant-hood that is tailored towards the development of other foster leaders that will climb the mantle of leadership at the exit of the present leaders so that vacuum will not be created in order for posterity to be better off than this present generation.

IN PURSUIT OF VISION—(6 Minutes Read).

Some years ago,I was opportuned to lay my hands on a book titled “in pursuit of vision” authored by the world renowned preacher of the gospel,in person of Bishop(Dr) David Oyedepo.

Little did i know that i will be tested on what i read years ago with a simple and single sentence.

In the midst of a tete-a tete with someone yesterday,suddenly she asked me a question :

HOW CAN VISION BE COMMUNICATED?

Though it caught me unaware,took me by surprise but after a while at the tail end of our discussion,i referred her back to the questions and i was able to enlightened her of what vision is all about.

Vision simply connotes:

“Vision is not about the dream and trance that is commonly  experienced by almost every human being.It is all about the essence of our existence with the discovery of how our existence can impart and influence our environment while we are still living and beyond when we are no longer alive.It encompasses what we stand for and what is needed to serve as a means of proffering solutions to the myriads of challenges ravaging the existence of humanity at one point in time.It usually starts as a little ideas and philosophy that is obtainable in terms of revelation and inspiration”.

Just like every form of communication that involves both the donor and the recipient,every communication must terminate with a feedback from the recipient which will signal and show the degree of understanding of the contents of information passed across to the recipient.

Communicating vision across board is one of the major attributes of good leadership because good leadership must not be an island,it must be all encompassing with the full carriage of follower along with the necessary information from the leader that will make them to be independent and prepared  them as good successors for leadership position in the nearest future.

WHAT ARE THE ATTRIBUTES OF VISION?

1.Elasticity:

No matter how simple or little a vision might be ,one of the litmus test of any vision is the time factor that determine whether it is a genuine vision or a vision that cannot stand the test of time.Vision conceived by anyone must be able to stand trials and the test of time.Vision must be elastic.No matter how it is stretched,it must not reach a breaking point.It must outlive the visioner and be able to accommodate every tribes and nations of the world because God destined every human to be a global authority not a local authority,so also our ideas and philosophies must carry the essence of our divine existence by being relayed to the generality of the world.

2.Tool of Correction:

Every vision conceived by anyone must be a tool of correction,it must be able to correct and destroy the original status quo that is in control in any given place.A good vision should not be at par with what is in vogue,rather should outsmart what is in vogue and end up championing another course that will promote the course of humanity in a given space of time.

3.Tool of change:

No matter  the simplicity of any vision,it must serve as a tool of change in the overall society.Vision should be able to approach and stem down any form of societal vices that seems to be in vogue in a particular place at any particular moment of human existence.

4.Tool of Influence:

The conception of any vision when it is ripe must be able to influence the society at large.Good vision influences the totality of human existence without any struggle and cuddling.It must be able to champion another course that will proffer solutions to myriads of challenges humanity is bedeviled with.

5.Vision must be simple:

The essence of every vision lies in its simplicity.Without the the presence of the visioner or at the exit of the original owner of a vision  the receiver of such vision should be able to comprehend and apply its contents to the present needs of the society in its entirety at any point in time.Simplicity of vision is the main thing that makes every vision available to everybody that needs direction at any moment in time.

6.Vision must be written and pursued:

As it is chronicled on the pages of the scripture,actualizing the demands and dictates of any vision will be incomplete and impossible without the vision been written down and without it been pursued with all the available resources at the disposal of the visioner or at the domain of the visioner at a particular moment in the process of time.No doubt about it, many visions have been aborted due to the fact that they are not documented, written and pursued in other to see the actualization in this generation and in the coming generation.

7.Visions are always seed-like:

Often times than none,considering many of the great ideas,philosophies and inventions that are obtainable in the world,one can vividly see that these are visions that started very little in terms of size,volume ,impact and impart but within a space of time,they end up becoming enormous and gigantic in terms of their influence from one generation to another.Visions always starts very small with no bearings and meanings to what is obtainable in the society when it begins but they end up taken forms and shapes gradually with times.Every good vision germinates with time just as a seed germinates when all the conditions necessary for germination are provided.

8.Visions must  be Evergreen:

At one point in time,our world has been occupied with one form of ideas and philosophies that are conceived by someone or group of people but what makes a good vision is the longevity of the vision in the space of time.Many great minds have occupied the corridor of leadership at a point in time but the impart of their vision on the generality of the society made their names to be written in gold in the annals of history.

Martin Luther Kings Jnr,Mother Teresa,Mahatma Gandhi,Nelson Mandela and many other great minds were known to stand for something unique in the course of their existence on earth and the impact and impart of their influence are been referenced to in the annals of history till today.

It can be seen that the visions of these people and host of others can be viewed to be evergreen with their tap root deeply rooted down into the earth surface.

Without any doubt,the essence of every vision is resident deeply in communication.The process of conceiving an idea that ends up into a vision must be relayed and communicated to other for unending continuity.Visions becomes aborted when it is not communicated to other or when its scope of communication is limited to a particular stratum of the society.

It is through the length and quality of the communication of vision that good leadership is birthed.Any leader occupying any post at a particular time in the terrain of human existence must ensure that its scope of leadership with the accompanying aims and objective are deeply engrossed in the minds of its followers.Good leaders always ensure that their visions are not dead at their exit by ensuring that their followers ensure the continuity of what they stand for while occupying the corridor of leadership.

RELEVANCE OF VISION TO LEADERSHIP

Leadership entails all concepts, methods and approaches optimized effectively and efficiently to offer adequate and appropriate up-to-date guidance, mentorship and tutelage to subordinate and subjects about a particular subject matter, fields and areas of endeavour or area of concern.

The tutelage and mentorship offerred can be formal and informal.

Whether it is formal or informal, the essence of leadership is centred around bulding up and edifying others to achieve the beauty of their purpose in the course of their existence.

For leadership to satisfy its purpose of profferring solutions throgh mentorship and tutelage, visionary leadership must be offerred at every point in time.

Vision always position leaders on a pedestal of being ahead in terms of ideas,contents and philosophies platformed on the ability of giving values and virtues to subjects and subordinates.

Leadership must be total in all concept and approach must be geared towards being ahead in giving out cutting edge solutions birthed through vision.

Effective form of leadership flourishes when it maximizes the opportunities and benefits inherent in the possession of such vision.

Having deep insights into the beauty of the future and having a means of getting the beauty established for the betterment of the society at large signals the possession of vision.

It is the possession of insights that makes leaders effective in the course of tutoring and mentoring the subordinate.

Effective leadership suffers once vision is amiss.

Vision adds value to leadership and makes it efficient in proffering adequate solutions to the challenges at hand.

Vision add value to leadership and the accompany respect added is unquantifiable.

In conclusion,the continuity of human existence that is geared towards all round progressive development will become a reality when personal efforts is geared towards deep understanding of what is expedient of every leader with their scope of ideas and contents of their philosophies being communicated to their followers.It is  common every where in the world that everybody is yearning for the emergence of good leadership but it is scarce to see anyone yearning for good follower-ship.

Meanwhile, we all forget that the emergence of good leadership is a mirage without the emergence of good follower-ship.The seed of good leadership is enshrined in the nucleus of good follower-ship but good leadership is birthed when every leader makes it as a responsibility to communicate their visions to their followers and ensured that its contents are enshrined and engraved in the minds of everyone looking up at them for direction and solution at one point in time in the course of human existence.

WARNING!!!—-(4 Minutes Read).

Many of us spend a chunk of our time moving around every religious gathering with the urge to fulfill every spiritual obligations.Not that our presence in religious gatherings is a crime or a sacrilege but lack of knowledge about what is pertinently required to seek the face of God other than the unending attendance of every religious programs makes it an aberration to what is needed for God to intervene in the situation of our life.Even many pays a bunch of their attention and time to religious and spiritual necessities but meanwhile other area of their life are left unattended to with little or nothing to show as a testimonial of their impact and impart of their existence in the process of time.

It can never tantamount to a deceit that any believe that support the fact that God’s intervention on any of the situation of our life is strictly and solely a function of our presence at every religious gathering is a deviation of the truth that the scripture is chronicled and premised upon.

Personally,this observation crept into my spirit recently when i perused deeply on the waves of people on the streets distributing religious tracts and different church programs.The numbers of posters and billboards that occupy spaces on the streets this days is quite alarming that someone needs to think whether the kingdom of God has become a tool of entrepreneurship and a money making ventures by the occupiers of the altars in our different denominations.Since, the message of God as it was chronicled in the scripture is the same,the approach of its publicity by many Christians and men of God seems to be quite unnecessary.

Many men of God and denominations ought to be busy in doing more  feeding their pastures welfare as a matter of urgency, the extreme invitation and numerical increment in the decimals of worshipers that has become the main thing needs to be looked into critically by the concerned authorities in our different denominations.

A nation that is existing with many religious confraternity and association but with little or no industrial revolution at sight can be described as hypocritical and a fertile ground for underdevelopment and unending social vices and crimes notwithstanding their extreme religious piety.

It is pertinent for all religious organizations in Nigeria to do more in being a source of influence to the larger society in terms of industrial revolution that will dissolve unemployment and abject poverty that has consumed the fabrics of the productive part of our society.

If many of the religious edifices occupying spaces in Nigeria can be used for productivity and industrialization,i believe that abject poverty that is on industrial scale in Nigeria will end up being a thing of the past.

There is an urgent need for every religious organizations to see to the development of the totality of their members.Spiritual development alone with other aspect of individual existence not being developed cannot in anyway fulfill what is chronicled in Matthew 5 that we are the light of the world and a salt to the world.It is the development of the totality of every individual that will enhance the influence of Christianity in the world.

In this era of economic recession,everybody must take the bull by the horn for this period to come to an end.The onus of getting out of recession should not be on our political leaders alone,religious organizations must contribute their quotas in being responsible to what is needed in terms of policy making to get our nation out of economic recession.

Moving around one religious programs or the other might make you become a tool of deceit and swindling in the hand of self acclaimed professional and entrepreneurial men of God.

Abiding in the presence of God whenever you are is what matters not your presence in every religious gathering.God is everywhere.He is omnipresent.You can encounter His intervention anywhere you find yourself not necessary in religious gatherings.

I am not submitting that attending churches should be mortgaged ans pushed aside for mundaness but moving around different churches is risky and can give room for someone to sink more into diverse problems because there are many fake men of God now.

EARLY MORNING LINE OF THOUGHT….

My observation while in transit this morning triggers the emergence of a simple thought that seems to be a philosophy that will enhance better human relationship.I was just in an automobile,precisely a tricycle commonly called “marwa”,i was there with a co-passenger and all of a sudden, a guy passing bye on the road stepped back to exchange pleasantry with my female co-passenger.This occurrence launched me to a realm of revelation,although i am not really sure if my assertion is right but whether it is right or wrong,i believe it will not be too bad putting it in black and white for the sake of history and learning.

No matter how lonely and destitute anyone might be,there is always someone around that will put smile on our face.No matter how happy will might be,there is always someone or situations around that will end up making us moody and sad.

Since humanity was designed to be independent on everything around,nobody has the strength to solely and single-highhandedly control situation(s) obtainable within any vicinity,although we can influence any of this situation to suit us but this is possible only if we are sensitive and observant of the situation around us.

Somebody around might be passing through moments and seasons that have defied and defeated every form of expectation and happiness might have been luxury to such a person but i believe that someone is out there waiting to make us happy and give us solution to the circumstances around us.

It is the responsibility of every human to do everything in their capacity to be a source of hope and help to people around them.Instead of waiting for the indigent to ask for our help,why cant we be sensitive to the needs of others and be their help before they seek for help.

Stop waiting for seekers of help,

Stop being a receiver of help from others,

Start being a giver of help to others.

Our world will be a better place if every human is ready to look after the needy.

Our world will be better if we are all ready to be a source of help and hope to others.

Somehow,someone needs you like never before.

Open your hearts to the needy,

Open your hands wide open.

The world will be better if we all become our brothers keeper in deeds not in words.

MY DAY….

I start everyday waking up with  hopes and expectation of giving my best to life and getting the best from life at the end of the day.Everyday of my life exists within the confines of the beginning and the end but the events of everyday when successful becomes an accomplishment but when it is unsuccessful becomes a source of regret. Regrets or accomplishment is not an end in itself but a means to an end.Regrets or accomplishment obtained on a daily basis becomes the subjects of our experience.The depth of regrets and accomplishment encountered by us defines the depth of our experience.                                                                                                                                       

Whether my day ends in regrets or accomplishment,what matter most is the lesson(s) i learn in the course of my day.It is not a gainsaying that the  events of today becomes history tomorrow and the events of tomorrow exists within the nucleus of my aspiration,imagination and dreams.

No single day can be complete without it being filled with sorts of regrets obtainable from failures and disappointment.No meaningful day can be recorded in the annals of our history without the existence of accomplishments obtained from daily activities.

Natures and creation  responsibilities on every human being designed every existence to be independent on each other.This simply connotes that no one was created or designed to be in existence with the invincibility of  solely or single-handedly controlling the outcome of efforts channeled towards having a complete successful day.

If nature or creation has empowered us to be dependent of each other,everybody would have been able to control and command the outcome of the day.This would have reduced the existence and exposure of our day to disappointment that is obtainable from people around us because no form of clairvoyancy is needed to know that out of every human breathe are oozes of disappointment.

Since GOD was the first recipient of human disappointment that boiled down to God regretting His efforts in creating human being,so every human being in existence should expect disappointment from people around especially people that seems to eat with us from the same plate just as Peter and Judas Iscariot disappointed Jesus Christ.

In essence,personally my day is complete when i am disappointed.

Always expect the unexpected.

When you expect less from people,you will never be disappointed.

PERSONAL REFLECTION

I think it is quite common that as we aged,we do more of reflection than revelation.There comes a moment in our life when we do more of being quiet and spend larger part of our quiet time asking ourselves salient questions that demands salient answers tending towards the essence of our live.

A bunch of my time during the weekend and during yesterday’s public holiday was spent being quiet with myself despite some sorts of distractions from my little daughter and programs on the cable television but deep inside me i was quiet with myself ruminating on how far i have gone with my dreams and aspiration.

Life has a way of being generally difficult in making our dreams and aspiration see the light of the day.Day in, day out,i see many people struggling to make something out of life and this seems to be an unending struggle that have no respect for our input.Often times than none, we do more but we get little out of our efforts,this births a form of regret and disappointment in us that takes a lot of time and encouragement for anyone to be delivered from wallowing perpetually in it.

  I expected and prepared for an appointment with someone on Saturday afternoon,all that is needed to make it successful was invested by me,i made all the necessary calls in order for this appointment to be meaningful but despite all my effort to see this appointment coming to fruition,it still became futile.The futility was not from my end it reared its ugly head from the other end.

Though, i live my life expecting little from people.Mankind is synonymous to disappointment.Even at the beginning of creation,mankind disappointed God,so nobody should live life expecting much from the next person.We should always expect the unexpected.

  It was not the resources i invested into this appointment that bothers me but the trust i have in it that became a burden to me when it became futile.I realized once again that the backwardness obtainable in Africa has nothing to do with our political leaders but it has its roots and route in many of us that are swift in blaming our leaders in this part of the world.

It is pertinent to note and point it out to every dick and harry that followers and those people that are being led in Africa are the reasons for the woes bedeviling our continent.If an appointment between two people can be handled with laxity and levity without being concerned about the effect of such disappointment on any of the involved party,i do not see any reason why followers should be swift in apportioning blames to any of our leaders.

It is until when everybody believed that the exhibition of leadership attributes are expected from all of us that the dearth of good leadership being in display in African Society will end and our yearning for a people-oriented form of leadership will end up being a thing of the past.

Why do we always disappoint?

INDEPENDENCE DAY MUSING

Injustice reigns supreme in any society that mortgaged truth for a morsel of porridge.

Even though the essence of telling the truth is for the freedom of the mind but often times than none,men become imprisoned for telling the truth and end up becoming a victim and an enemy of the society.

The recent suspension of the alleged budget padding whistle-blower in the lower chamber of the Nigeria National Assembly is a pointer to the fact that the enemy of any society is the person that is bold enough to tell the truth.

This is an aberration to what is good,reasonable and acceptable and an irony that it is difficult for anyone to believe that it can happen in a society where sanity is reigning supreme.

The only possible thing that will deliver humanity from slavery and oppression is for men of dignity to rise up and challenge any clique that seems to be an enemy of the truth.

Truth-a bitter pill but a better destroyer of oppression.

Humanity must be delivered from their whims and caprices.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

56 years after independence.56 years of celebration of independence from our colonial masters.Since October 1st, 1960,Nigeria has been in existence as an independent sovereign entity but with little or nothing to show as an outcome of the desire and dreams that spur our founding fathers to struggle for  independence from Britain.

This year independence day should not be celebrated with cymbals and drums but it should be a moment of reckoning and reflection on the past ,present and future.At this point of our national existence,there is an urgent need for sober reflection that boils down to the essence of our national existence.

Many multifarious challenges have bedeviled the coexistence of every Nigerian in the time past even to this present moment but it is quite appalling that we have been wallowing in the midst of these challenges with no solutions in sight except empty promises and manifestos from our leaders day in day out.

Gone are those days when fun-fares and jamborees always filled every nooks and crannies of Nigeria whenever independence day approaches.There can never be any meaningful celebration across the length and breadth of the country because the pains and pangs of bad and retrogressive administration with bad economic policies that resulted into economic recession can be seen on the faces of every Nigerian.

This really shows the dearth of good leadership that is obtainable in every stratum of Nigerian society.Nigerian society is blessed with rulers that only think about what they can get in boosting their finances and influences in the society but what is needed for Nigeria to be rated as one of the best in the comity of Nations is selfless and sacrificial leadership that will channel every available resources for the entire development of the society not a kind of leadership that favours a certain class of the society and the other classes are left as slaves to suffer in abject penury.

No doubt about it,no form of clairvoyancy is needed for anyone to know that the wealth of the world lies in the hand of one percent of the world population with ninety nine percent of the remaining population being the provider of this wealth.There is an urgent need for leaders in the world to bridge this gap especially leaders in the third world nations of the world because this imbalance in the distribution of wealth across the globe has been one of the reasons behind the challenges bedeviling the existence of mankind on earth.When some people are languishing in poverty and hunger,others that are not up to one percent of the society are living excessively without the thought of what to eat and what to wear bothering their mind.

Nigeria as a country has what it takes to be classified as one best nations in the world in terms natural resources,human resources and untapped raw potentials that can be  seen to be in existence on a large scale but it will not be to the extreme to submit that we  have been blessed with leaders that lacked the managerial dexterity and acumen to turn all these raw untapped potentials into wealth that will serve as palliatives to w bring millions of Nigeria out of poverty and hunger.

As it is now,personally I am disappointed in what is obtainable in my fathers land.I am bothered about the future and the lot of posterity.I am bothered about what i will tell my children about the situation of my country.I am bothered about my children passing through the same challenges i passed through.

I will rather wish Nigerians happy new month.

I will never wish any Nigerian happy independence.

The question is;Are we truly independent?

The answer is NO!!!

Recurring economic woes,injustice,corruption,underdevelopment,poverty,hunger etc are the recurring decimal that made the Nigerian nation to be far away from being seen as an independent geographical entity. 

Once again,to all Nigerians and to all my readers across the globe,i wish everyone happy new month.

30th of September 2016…what a day!!!

Three months left in 2016……

While musing over how swiftly and speedily year 2016 have been,I remembered this topic.Many water has passed underneath the bridge,many rain has fallen and this year in its peculiarity with other years has presented its challenges in every ramification.Every area of human endeavor have been stressed beyond limit with no possible way out till now.Many countries have been pulled down and pummeled with wars and battles and economic recession is drifting Nigeria apart on a fast lane.

Back to the genesis of my early morning musing that birthed the theme of my blog post tagged “In everything”.

In transit yesterday,on my way home from Ogba to Obawole,i eavesdropped the conversation of a woman co-passenger in the bus yesterday.She sat directly at my back in the last row of the bus.While she was in the middle of a phone conversation,i picked some content of the conversation and the little understanding i had about the conversation pushed me into deep rumination that ended up into a revelation.

She was received a call and all she was telling the caller is that they should be more fervent in their prayer that God should protect someone from not dying.From this i understood that she was coming from the hospital and a relation of her which might seems to be an in-law is on the point of death or in coma in a hospital.

I felt very bad with this aged woman predicament even to the extent that when the driver drove past her bus-stop and she was complaining of how she will get a bike that will take her back to the bus-stop where the driver ought to have halted,the compassion in me arose and i dole her money to get a bike.

Many of us might be complaining about the situation in the country presently but we always forget that we are better off than those who are on the hospital bed in this period of recession,many are battling with terminal diseases and many are hopeless of the situation of their life.Many started year 2016 with us but their obituary have been pasted and they are now underneath the earth surface.

Is it that we are better off than any of this people?

Nope!!!!!!!!

It has been the faithfulness of God that has been firm as the sky.

It is all these that occupied my mind this morning and i felt like sharing to remind us all that no matter the situation of things around us,God has been faithful in keeping us to see the end of the month of September 2016.

CLINTON OR TRUMP:WHICH WAY TO GO?

The rationale behind my day starting with musing about the next America Presidential Election is somehow strange to me but I felt there is a need to put one out of my zillion lines of thought down in black and white.

As the D-day is drawing nearer gradually, everybody all over the world knows that every campaign and election terminates with the appointment of a President and it’s running mate no matter the numbers of political parties that presented their candidates for the election.

As it has been from time immemorial, two popular American citizens have been presented for the forthcoming Presidential election with their running mates from the two popular political parties in existence in America.

The Democrats and the Republican have been the two party system being operated in America.I doubt if there has ever been another one since democracy started in America. Electoral post in America has been vied for by candidates from these two political parties.

Since 2008,  when Senator Barack Hussein Obama emerged as the President of United States of America from the Democrats till this present moment, American has had a fair share of what is expected as a qualitative and a progressive form of leadership being yearned for by everybody all over the world though there has been some policies hiccups during his administration but a lot of Americans can testify that he is one of the best American President that can be submitted to be in the class of Abraham Lincoln and Bill Clinton.No doubt about it that there is a lot of confusion about some of his policies, like granting gay rights which have  been viewed in the religious cycles all over the world as sacrilegious but to an extent he tried in the area of employment generation that are are always generated in their thousands almost every month.

Now, there are a lot of hullabaloo and furore about the present Presidential Candidates.For many months, their campaign manifestoes have been overwhelmingly consuming.Every space and domains on social media are conspicuously filled with their campaign slogan and mantra.

This left nothing but a choice between the devil and the deep blue sea for all Americans in their choice of the best candidate come November 2016 . A decision to move forward or backward.

The world is waiting earnestly to witness American election.

If Hillary Clinton wins, she is going to make a record as the first  female American President and probably the first family in America to have husband being a one time occupier of the Oval office and also the wife being an occupier too and maybe one day Chelsea their daughter will occupy oval office too.

Donald Trump seems to be a greenhorn somehow, though he might be popular but it will be like a donkey passing through the eye of the needle for him to win the election.If he wins the election, I believe there is something good about him that American prefers but I think if he carries out a tittle of his manifestoes especially the ones that has to do with foreign policies, United States Of America will end up having more enemies with their contribution towards dividing the world into crumbs.

This is just my view.I am a Nigerian, it is left for Americans to decide their fate.

I know that all the promises made by any of these two candidates will not be cancelled like the one we are experiencing in Nigeria and they will not spend a bunch of their administration blaming previous administration. 

I love to see a stronger American Nation that will maximise every resources to make the world more United. 

God bless United States of America.

THE BEST IN YOU!!!!

It is not a gainsaying that the best in every human being can never be assumed to be over.The best in you and I is crying for expression on a daily basis.The best in you is yet to come.

From personal experience, as the best in gold can never be expressed without it passing through fire or furnace, so also the best in every human finds deep expression in challenges that tends to pull us apart.Often times than none, self-discovery begins when we champion our efforts towards self discovery.It is when we handle the challenges of our life alone, that we discover our strength and our weakness.

 

 

 

It is a pity that the weak minded waits for forlone moment for help forgetting that the help needed is within the confines of his or her genetic make up.

Eventhough, some school of thought believed and premissed that it is not good to be alone but I observed that being alone pays and it is the secrets for all round personal development and upliftment.Though, this is the philosophy of the strong. 

To make my article substantial and tangible, I handled a task on my own today successfully without any external contribution. I can submit that this feat was providenced to an extent and it is platformed on the believe that I can do all thing in Christ which strengthen me.

A data that I have once glanced through without understanding it became so understandable this evening without any atom of stress and it made my work simple without being under any tutelage or direction.

Today is quite eventful and memorable in my official engagement.

The weak sights challenges and chicken-out.

The strong sights challenges as an opportunity to emerge as a champion.

The best in you will surface when you are ready to take personal responsibility for personal development. 

Be the best.

WHEN WILL THE EXCUSES END?—–(3 minutes read)

This is the question I kept asking myself now.I have been opportuned to watch and listen to both President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo interviews on several media platform but to my utmost consternation, I realised that their response has always been centred around unending blames and excuses that I realised that it is gradually becoming burdensome and a tautology. 

A rocket scientists is not needed for Nigerians to know that previous administration has done nothing but evil, the impart of their maladministration is written and chronicled on the surface of every sector of this country.

Long time ago, Nigeria economy has been struggling for survival but no one dares to proffer solution to our low ebbed economy.Now the die is cast, Nigeria as a country is been tossed around on the high sea of economic recession but the economy is on an emergency waiting for who will revive it.

 

Since recession simply denotes low productivity of good and services that encompasses low supply of goods and services which makes demand of goods and services to soar high with the accompany prices of goods and services ballooned to high heaven.

Now, the urgency in form of emergency is on all of us to see to the revival of our ailing economy by being responsible in making our economy bounced back to a better position.Since, our economic past has been bad which can be traced to wanton profligacies , flamboyancies and extreme wastefulness of resources.

An average man on the street needs nothing but an improvement of our economy with the provision and availability of goods and services at an affordable prices.

Nigerians are tired and bored of listening to the rationale behind the economy dipping into recession.We have had enough of “why we are in recession”.What we want now is technical but simple explanations of the steps being taken to take our economy out of recession.

Many steps might have being taken by the present day government but there is a need to sell it to all Nigerians without continuing with the blame game.It is quite unacceptable for a government that will be two years old in 2017 to keep giving us flimsy excuses that boils down to ineptness, ineptitudeness and mediocrity exhibited by past administration which this administration cannot deny that they are not part of people that contributed to the quagmire the entire country is in now.

How can this administration be spending the available scarce resources at their disposal in unending blame while they are supposed to be busy maximising what is available on the practical solutions that will get our economy out of recession. 

With the kind of floppiness and sluggishness  exhibited by this administration, someone should not being disappointed if this administration failed to fulfill a tittle of their electoral manifestos.

I believe Nigerians who carved and changed the meaning of All Progressive Congress to All Promises Cancelled might somehow be justified at the end of the day.

There is an urgent need for this administration to rise up to the challenge of reviving this ailing economy. 

The blame game and flimsy excuses should stop.

I am tired of it.It is makes me throw up.I felt sleepy when I listen to this blames.

When is it going to stop!!!

Are we going to spend 4 years blaming past administration? ????

Someone should give me an answer.

I am confused.

 

Even up till now, it is even getting miry with a lot of ineptness,cluelessness and ineptititudeness being on display on the Nigeria corridor of power.I am confident that this four years will end with nothing to show for it .

MLST ARTICLE:TRENDING ISSUE ON SOCIAL MEDIA

I have been thinking about this but I have been trying bottling it.The persistence of this issue on social media mostly in sarcastic form forced me to lend my voice on this issue.

 

 

To an extent, I believe that the issue of marriage or getting a life partner should be a personal and private issue that should not be thrown to public domain.It is quite uncalled for when every dick and Harry keeps wagging their tongues on issues that boiled down to your life.

 

 

 

 

Many commentaries even relayed previous interviews whereby you mouthed and boast that you can use money to get a man.Now, granting another interview that contradict the previous one shows the level of your immaturity.

 

 

A woman of your age ought to be matured in mind and in thought.You are not expected to give answer to such an interview questions that has something to do with your personal and  private life.

 

 

Your issue has turned to what others have turned into subject of jokes and fun.The worst part of all this furore about your desperate need of a man at 36 is that it will make other ladies that are passing through similar ordeal to feel bad about their wound.

These days with the spate of single ladies scattered all over the world, I don’t think it is right for anyone to make jest of them under any disguise.Though, it wasn’t that people are making jest of them, it is you that caused it by granting interviews to what can be described as a wrong step in a wrong direction.

 

Do you think that this will bring solution to what is on ground?

 

No.

 

The solution is in you doing the right thing.It will not be too extreme to submit that you are proud when someone put into consideration your reply in the previous interview whereby you believed that you can buy a man with your money.

 

I think by looking back now, you have known practically that money can never hold a man.A woman that desires a man will cry to God and make sure the needful is done.Your affluence might be another stumbling block because African men are so difficult that they can never marry a woman that has many possessions at her beck and call because they know that pride can never be far from such a woman.

 

 

 

Womanhood is being challenged a great deal by singleness and the search for life partner, I will be the last person that will make jest of women that are looking for husband.It can never be easy for a woman to be single and the implication in African settings can never be dared by any woman.

I pray for you, that those who mocked you now will be invited for your marriage in Jesus Name.

 

Every single woman on the surface of earth today will end up meeting the right man before this year end.

For no one shall wants his mate.

SATURDAY MUSING:NEVER GIVE UP!!!

Just like every other Saturday, the 17th of September started with a bright morning unlike other days of the week that were filled with clouds and unabated heavy downpour.I was in the office to attend to some official duty and at the same time preparing for a marital union celebration somewhere in the city but looking back at the experiences I encountered throughout Saturday, I can simply submit that it is never too late for you and I.Eventhough the night might be dark and slippery, our God is busy preparing a place for you and I.

SATURDAY WEDLOCK.

Who will ever believed that the wife of Saturday can gloriously locate her better half at the beginning of this year.Somehow the signal that all hope have been lost was visible everywhere.At a point, I was in the midst of a discussion with her elder sister who is my colleague in the office  and i asked whether she is looking down on herself that she can never get a suitor.As if I know what God is planning for her, it was not up to 2 months that her sister whatsapped me that she is bringing her suitor home for introduction.I was elevated to ecstasy when this good news was relayed to me by her elder sister.On Saturday, it became a reality.What she was dreadful of became a source of testimony today.

SATURDAY FACEBOOK MESSENGERS MESSAGE

Years ago in 2007, I was a class teacher to a tiny little girl in Senior Secondary School 1 of Durable Comprehensive High School Ijegun, she was one of the best among her peers then at the age of 13 or 14.

Even when I left, the employment for a better relevant employment, I am still in touch with her till date.She finished her higher education in accountancy at the age of 21 with second class upper degree.Since, she finished her National Youth Corp, I have been interested in seeing her getting a job on time.Without calling me , I was the one that called her to send her curriculum vitae for job opportunities. On the 17th of September, I was also elevated to ecstasy when she informed me that she has gotten a job in a telecommunication firm in ilupeju for the post of an accountant and she started appreciating my kind gestures to her when she was in need of job.We ended up our chat with pieces of advice from me that she should give her best to whatever she is doing.

Personally, I see all these as a fulfillment of what I have been asking God for to make me a source of help and hope for others in my own little way.I am humbled that I am part of these testimonies I witnessed on the 17th of September 2016.

Surely, our God is a God of faithfulness.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Oluwatibiloba Nkechiyenre Obioha. God has destroyed the grip of marital stagnancy in your life.I pray that as you are becoming fruitful in your home, the house of your enemies will become desolate.All their children will die for you to have peace and fruitfulness in your husband house in Jesus Name.I pray your honey moon encounter will be an encounter for fruitfulness in Jesus Name.I see your home and table surrounded with children in Jesus Name.

Congratulations to Adebayo Omoladun. I Knew long time ago that you are a promising bright child, as you have started on the pedestal of greatness, I pray that the seed of greatness will continue to germinate in your life in JESUS NAME.

To all the people in the line of expectation for a testimony from God, I pray that every issue of concern shall become a testimony for you in Jesus Name.

God is never too late.

The load might be heavy, the load will make you strong.

Hold on to God.

He will surely fulfill His promise in your life.

THE ESSENCE OF REDEMPTION.

The fall of man in the garden of Eden broke the fellowship between God and man, since then, the obligation to restore the broken relationship between man and God has been of essence to God.God in his infinite wisdom sent many chosen men to earth in order to serve as a link and mediator between God and man but none of this people was able to restore man back to God through the remission of Sin.The old testament was chronicled on this from the beginning to the end involving the offering of many sacrifices that serve  as as method for the atonement of sin.

Despite all these efforts to restore the original plan and purpose of God on earth, all the efforts proved abortive until God sent His only begotten Son to shed his blood for the remission of sin and the restoration of mankind to God.It was through the crucifixion of JESUS CHRIST on the Mount of Calvary that the broken relationship between Man and God was restored.–John 3 verse 16.This birth the the new testament which was chronicled to be an extension and a perfection of the old testament.

Through this restoration, mankind was  given another opportunity to live within the confines of the original purpose of God for mankind in the garden of Eden but this is made possible for anyone who is ready to accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour.

Till this present moment, God desired that all His children will live as gods while on earth but through ignorance and sins, the devil has been taken advantage by denying many children of God the opportunity to enjoy the plans and purpose of God for them on earth.

These brought forward the need to restore back that which Jesus Christ died for to in order to have a meaningful expression in the life of all his children–Job 20 verse 18.Salvation will become less meaningful if it is devoid of restoring the original plan and purpose of God for mankind which has been stolen by the devil through the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden.

The right time for the restoration of the glory of God draws near.

God is set once again to validate and confirm his restoration agenda for you and I.

 

Indeed, you shall be restored–Joel 2 verse 25, Psalms 51 verse 12.

THE YORUBA’S AND THEIR AFFINITY FOR OWAMBE. —-(4 Minutes Read).

 

Someone foreign to the culture of the Nigeria south-western state might have his or her tongue clipped  having difficulty to pronounce “OWAMBE”.This is really a common parlance used in describing social gathering and any form of party organised in any part of yoruba land in Nigeria.Literally, it simply connotes “I am there” or I witnessed it”.

 

 

Every Saturday of every year can never be vacant of one owambe or the other in yorubaland, it is deeply embedded as part of cultural virtues of the yorubas and it is exhibited as an important part of the yoruba society.

 

 

Not that other tribe or part of the world are not social but one can easily observe a unique way by which all resources are maximised for the success of such a gathering in yorubaland.”Owambe(s)” of few hours is always celebrated as a celebration that will last a long time.

 

 

Not that celebration is awful and absurd but one can never shy away from the volume of resources that goes down the drain in the process of organising a gathering that is societal and eventful.

 

 

No doubt about it, it is always filled with fun fare, jamboree and  eventful with series of programmes that makes such a day complete and satisfactory. Right from the colourful attires with varieties of foods having different meats and fish as a good companion.It is only available statistics that can provide the numbers of cattle, goats and rams from the Northern part of the country that are sacrificed in the course of owambe every year in Nigeria.

 

 

Truly, the Yoruba culture is one of the rich culture available all over the world but it is quite appalling to note that the demands of meeting up with this cultural values is quite tensed and unbearable.Many people go along way in leaving their comfort zone and inconveniencing themselves to get any of their owambe meaningful and successful. 

 

 

Despite the gloomy low ebbed economy being witnessed all over the world, one would think that their will be a recession to such an extravagant and flamboyant celebration . People always goes to the extreme in sourcing for fund in the form of borrowing in order to be acceptable to their invitees, colleagues , families and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

From this , investors and  smart entrepreneur need not to go far to understand that the south-western part of Nigeria is a fertile ground for investing a bunch into event planning and other source of social activities that will make every owambe acceptable to international standard.This sector of our economy is a gold mine awaiting a lot of resourcefulness to tap into it.It can also serve as a source of IGR and forex for Nigerian government only if the capacity to maximize every available opportunities inherent in this sector towards massive employment, taxation generation and infracstructural development of Nigeria society.

 

 

In considering the fabrics and attires that goes into making owambe colorful, beautiful and eventful, one needs to know that it will aid massive geometric development of the textile industries that have been moribund  since ages in Nigeria.The food and beverages industries are not left behind as one of the sectors that can be developed from the affinity of the yorubas for owambe.The demand for food in any of this gathering is a pointer to the fact that the agricultural sector will not be left behind in the course of overall general development. 

 

 

To cap it up, it is pertinent to note that extremism in organising owambe and it’s accompany demands through unnecessary profligacies is unreasonable and unacceptable, moderacy is needed in everything needed to be done for any engagement and social gathering.

 

 

 

On a personal ground , as a conservative I believe to a large extent that owambe is profligacy and wastefulness. The essence for frugality and persimoniosity should not be mortgaged at all.

 

 

The need to champion and channel every available resources at our disposal is of essence and importance.What is wasted in every social gathering is enough to take good care of the indigent and downtrodden in the society.

RIO 2016 PARALYMPICS.

Great feats and achievements in life is not a function of perfection but it is platformed on unrepented ability for excellence.What abled-bodied athletes find difficult to give to Nigerians have been given to us on a platter of gold.

It has been a harvest of medals for Nigerian contigents in the recent paralympics in Rio Brazil. Sighting an African country being on the 9th position in the medal list is something worthy of encomium and celebration.

The world will be a better place if equal opportunities can be given to all the inhabitants of the world to showcase their hidden talents.This idea of paralympics is one of the ideas that makes our world to be more accommodating to all and sundry because it proffer a level playing ground for every one to discover their hidden purpose and potentials.

Gone are the days that the physically challenged are irrelevant in our society.Presently, there are many physically challenged that are walking on the surface of the earth as 7kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses. Their rulership and royalty have been seen and viewed to surpass that of the able bodied men and women anywhere in the world.

This assertion and submission are confirmed in the fleets of feats and achievements garnered as accolades by this people in every facet of human endeavour and this has made their relevance to stand at par with abled-bodied men and women.

kudos to the people and policy makers that gave these people a level playing ground all over the world.

Bravo to the mind that conceived the idea of introducing paralympics. 

This is one of the progressive ideas that keeps championing the course of humanity towards making our world all better place.

The days of looking down on the physically challenged is over.

The world is now looking up to them for solutions to myriads of challenges drifting humanity  away into perdition.

Nigerian society should give them more opportunities to showcase their talents in every area  of human endeavour.The solutions our society is yearning for might be resident in their hands.We should allow them to be at the helm of affairs of this country. It will not be too much for them to manage our political landscape.

Lagos State Government under the administration of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode celebrated one year in office this year, he gave them a platform to be seen by all and sundry this year.A plus to his form of leadership that is channelled towards giving everybody a level playing ground to be relevant in the society.

Truly, disability is not synonymous to inability.

Equality is the way forward .

Congrats to the Nigerian 2016 Contingents to Rio Paralympics. 

You are all appreciated.

Thanks for making us proud.

Thanks for making Nigeria relevant in the comity of Nations.

Thanks for giving us hope of a better future.

BLESSINGS AND CURSES

Flipping through the pages of the scripture, one can observed vividly that as blessings are real, so also curses are real.Blessings can be submitted to be the outcome in the form of renumeration and reward for obedience to superior instructions and commandments while curses can be seen on the pages of the scripture as an outcome of disobedience to God’s commandment.Even in the secular realm, obedience to laid down rules and regulations terminates with rewards while punishment terminates any form of disobedience.It can be simply submitted that disobedience attracts curses and obedience attracts blessings.

All through the scripture, it can be seen vividly that God hates disobedience but loves obedience to all given commandment.The bible contains instances that simply buttress this assertion.Numbers 5 verse 23, Numbers 22 verse 6, Deutronomy 28 verse 15, Deutronomy 28 verse 45, Deutronomy 29 verse 21, Deutronomy 30 verse 7 , 2nd Chronoicles 34 verse 24.These are some of the pages of the scripture that chronicle basic explanation of what blessings are and what curses are.

Without any iota of doubt, one can see that many on the surface of the earth today are living under one form of blessings or one form of curse.Any form of living in conformity with the plan and purpose of God for humanity can be traced to have its base and foundation on God’s blessings but any form of existence devoid of God’s plan and purpose can be traced to an exhibition of curse at one point in time.Blessings and curses can have their validity from one generation to another.Blessings and curses transcends one generation to another.

As it a known fact, that everyone is the architect of his fortunes and misfortunes.Our existence under the blessings of God demands personal responsibility and our existence under spell and curses are all about personal responsibility. GOD desires that all His children will live under His blessings but many are living outside the blessings of God which can be traced to irresponsibility, irresponsiveness, laxity, ignorance and disobedience.

As it is written, if the son sets you free, you shall be freed indeed.Your freedom from spell and curses has been paid for by Jesus Christ on the mount of cavalry. No child of God is permitted to be trampled under the influence of any spell or curse, your existence is supposed to be within the confines of God’s blessing without any struggle.

By the anointing, yoke shall be broken. The time for all the yokes hanging upon your life to be broken is ripe now as you join us at Living Faith Church Worldwide,Faith Terbanacle Cannanland,  Sango-Otta for a moment with God to destroy every generational curses hanging upon your life.

NECESSITY FOR A VIBRANT OPPOSITION PARTY

A healthy democratic dispensation is known anywhere in the world when there is a vibrant opposition party.Democracy looses it’s grip and power to turn the plight of the downtrodden and less privilege around when there is no strong opposition party on ground.

APC as a political party leveraged on this submission by being powerful and  vibrant, a kind of influence that spur APC into limelight on the corridor of power today.

There is a need for an opposition party that can stand at par with the ruling APC to be on ground now.This will keep APC on their toes and it will prevent them from resting on their hoarse.

PDP as a political party has all the paraphernalia to stand as a viable opposition party but the lack of internal democracy that destroyed the existence on the corridor of power in 2015 is yet to leave their domain.

In the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo State, the best thing that could have happened to Nigeria democracy is for PDP to defeat APC at the poll so that APC will realise in time that they are gradually loosing their ground because it is crystal clear that APC can never obtain a landslide victory at the poll in 2019.It is clocksure that  APC  will loose some polls to PDP or any other party that the electorates deem fit to be on the helm of affair of this country in 2019.

It is pertinent for every Nigerian to desist from voting for a unitary system of government.All and sundry should do everything within their power to build a political party that will stand at par as an opposition to APC.

I believe if APC begins to see the handwriting on the wall , they will sit tight and look for ways to upgrade the plight of common man on the street.

CHANGE BEGINS WITH ME

The recent “change begins with me” mantra has generated many furore and the hullabaloo about it keeps making  space in our national discussion and public domain.Many Nigerian raised eyebrow against this and it was viewed from many angles as another means of cancelling all the promises made to Nigerians by APC during the electioneering campaign in 2015.

Personally, at the point of watching President Muhammadu Buhari given this speech, I looked at it from another angle as a stylish means of our government being irresponsible and irresponsible to the plight of average Nigeria masses. Initially, I submitted that our President is becoming a professional motivational speaker.

On my way to work this morning, what I saw changed my perspectives about the “change begins with me “mantra.

How can the arm of government that has the constitutional duty to maintain law and order be the one that has larger percentage of his operatives breaking the law.I was appalled sighting Police officers in their RRS truck driving at high speed against traffic along Metalbox road, Ogba. This is the highest form of indiscipline that are not supposed to be portrayed by the arm of government that are deemed to be a  first hand custodian of law and order in Nigeria.

It is pertinent to note that if the present day government is trying to govern in accordance to this mantra and the citizenry are not seeing any reason to corporate with this mantra, Nigeria as a country should not expect any change across board.

This mantra simply placed a joint social responsibility on the government and the governed.It is when this responsibility is carried out jointly that our national social life can feel the effect of patriotism and nationalism portrayed by citizens of many developed countries.

In our daily activities, in our personal dealings and in our corporate duties, all our efforts should be geared towards changing our mentalities and approach to the way things are handled that seems to be retrogressive in all facets of human endeavour.

Nigeria will be great until we change our ways.

There is urgent need for:

1.Discipline across board in the entire Nigerian society

2.Prudency, honesty and integrity

3.Punctuality.We should erase African time mentality from our cerebral.

4.Obedience to law and order without being forced

5.Professional ethics, ethos and norms of the society should be maintained by all and sundry.

6.Patriotism should not be mortgaged for personal aggrandisement. 

7.Corruption should be barnished.  

These are some of the ways that seems to be necessary before we  can all witnessed the birth of a new Nigeria all of us are yearning for.

Truly, change begins with me!!!

A SIN OR NOT? WEARING NOSE-RING! !!

Push this across to public domain today on social media platform but I noticed and realised that responses given and granted are not tangible and substantive enough for what I expected as responses against or in support.

Flipping the pages of the scripture with other versions of the bible, it was only Revised Standard Version of the bible that chronicled this as nose-ring in Genesis 24 verse 30.

It was recorded that Abraham servants presented a nose-ring to Rebeccah at the point of his confirmation that Rebeccah is the woman his master begged him to find for Isaac.

Immediately, Rebeccah brother saw this in her sisters hand, he noticed without any doubt that his sister has found a suitor.

From this it can be deduced, that the possession of a nose-ring indicates favour and acceptability of a lady by a man, it is one of the gift a man will give to a lady to ask for her hand in marriage just like In this age we also have many material possession and gift that a man gives to a lady as a form of request to ask for a lady’s hand in marriage.

No place in the scripture was it recorded that it is wrong or it is a sin.

I will never agree with anyone arguing that it is a sin.

Tagging it a sin is a form of what the bible described as philosophy of men which the bible admonish Christians to stay away from.

With this little and simple submission, I can affirmatively submit that it is not a sin.

Using it is not compulsory, any lady that is convinced of the usage can do so .

Wearing of nose-ring is not a sin.

MAN OF THE HOUSE.

Marital vows imposed the role of leadership on the husband.

Being a husband is a role of leadership that is shown through responsibility in every facet of marital lifespan.

A married man represent everything God represent to all human in existence.

The responsibility imposed on any married man attracts authority that is binding on every member of the family.

Authority becomes smooth and meaningful when it is channelled through selfless discharge of responsibility for every party involved in the marriage–wife, children, in laws, neighbours, colleagues and friends. 

Marriage makes every married woman a subject and a partner to the husband.

The genesis of confusion inherent in marital union recently can be traced to misconceptions of what is expected from parties involved.

As a wife, you become envious unconsciously when you have resentment towards the authority of your husband.

 

Whenever you developed a thick skin to your husband corrections and views, the authority given to him by divinity is simply challenged, this will end up triggering misunderstanding and confusion. 

Challenging your husband authority and corrections is never a crime.It is acceptable and can be described as what is in vogue in this present age.

This simply signal your desire to share in the authority given to your husband by divinity and marital vow.

As stated earlier, authority becomes reasonable and meaningful when the corresponding responsibility is discharged without any iota any and atom of resentment and reluctance.

Wisdom demands that , as a woman , challenging your husband authority and corrections simply denotes your desire and passion to share in the discharge of authority given to him.

Since authority simply connotes responsibility. You must be ready to share the responsibility of your family.

No wife should challenge or be indifference to the correction and authority of his husband without her readiness to share the responsibility of the family.It will tantamount to meaningless insubordination when you are deaf to your husband correction when you are not ready to carry the responsibility of the family.

No reasonable woman should adhere to part of the concept of woman emancipation channelled towards inequality between husband and wife without her readiness to share in the responsibility of the family.

Equality between husband and wife simply connotes shared authority.

Shared authority demands shared responsibility.

Never challenge your husband authority without your contribution towards sharing the responsibilities demanded for a marriage to be successful.

ECONOMIC RECESSION AND IT’S IMPLICATIONS.

The word “recession” recently forced itself on every Nigerian and it became part of our vocabulary.No single day can pass us bye without our daily tabloids being filled with it bodly written or printed.As popular as this word is, the meaning of this word might be strange but the implications and effect can be seen by every Nigeria. 

WHAT IS RECESSION?

According to the definition copied on http://www.economichelp.org,  a recession means a fall in gross domestic product GDP or national output.

CHARACTERISTICS/IMPLICATIONS OF ECONOMIC RECESSION

Economic recession is usually characterised by :

1.High unemployment

2.Falling average income

3.Increased inequality

4.Rising bond yield

5.Higher government borrowing

6.Fall in tax revenue

7.Budget deficit

8.Output loss

9.Impact on workers

The impact of a recession depends on how long it lasts and the depth of the fall in output.

The fall in output simply denotes and implies fall in productivity which might make basic commodities needed by the populace to be scarce.The scarcity will give room for the forces of demand and supply to take over.Lower output triggers lower supply of goods and this will lead to increase in demand which will end up increasing the price of commodity in the market.

The recent economic reality witnessed across the length and breadth of Nigeria is shocking and strange , unimaginable and unfathomable by many Nigerians due to the high expectations that followed the landmark victory Nigeria masses handed over to the government of the day by rejecting former administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.

The electoral manifesto and promises of the APC government were so compelling and attractive that many Nigerians believed that the plight of average man on the street will experience a paradigm shift for better.

The bunch and bulk of this economic woes, hardship and downturn can never be blamed on this administration because it has started creeping and crawling in gradually at the end of the last administration which was mired with unreasonable degree of ineptness, ineptitude, corruption and mediocrity with stories of non performance being relayed on a daily basis from our corridor of power in Aso Rock and in all the thirty six states including Federal Capital Territory in Abuja. 

Now, Nigeria economy is in recession with rising cost of goods and services accompanied with high indices of unemployment soaring high on a daily basis, and the daily news of retrenchment aired on media platforms makes the heart of many heavy.

The impart and impact of this low ebbed economy has resulted in a forceful paradigm shift of every facet of our existence not for satisfaction but for survival.

No doubt about it, Nigerians can be described to be wasteful in their approach to manage every resources at the disposal but the present economic realities has been able to curtail and checkmate many forms of profligacies Nigerians are known for although many  are still shying away and struggling to belief the adverse impart of this recession on every facet of our existence.

Frugal management of scarce available resources with parsimonious utilisation and maximisation of scarce resources targeted towards increasing national productivity output seems to be the only way out to salvage the implications of this economic recession.This is the only way by which our national, corporate and personal existence can be preserved without it being dented and affected by the impact of recession.

The present day government needs an urgent drive towards economic approach and policies that will serve as a palliative to cushion the effect of this negative economic realities.Since our reliance on crude oil is no longer beneficial and attractive, there is an urgent need to diversify our economy through the diversification of every resources inherent in all  sectors in order to increase our productivity output in a short term.

Agricultural, solid minerals, human resources and other important sectors like educational and health sectors should be developed without leaving behind infrastructural development.There is an urgent need to develop our power sector,5000mega watts is not enough to revive our economy from recession at all.Ministry of power, works and housing should do more to maintain this 5000 mega watts with plan and processes that will increase power output to 30000 mega watts in short term.

This will easily revive the manufacturing sector with the development of agricultural sector in pari pasu so that agricultural output can fill the gap of dearth of basic raw material bedevilling our manufacturing sector .The importation of local and international cutting edge technology should also be tapped into in order to make our manufacturing sector vibrant.

Effort should be made in enhancing the production and manufacturing of finished products that have quality that can stand at par or even superceded what is obtainable in the international market .This will increase the volume of our foreign exchange earnings that has plum due to low crude oil price.

The development of our educational sector should be at the front burner of our developmental policies, there should be a paradigm shift of our educational curriculum towards introducing and exposing our students to the practical and entrepreneurial aspect of their chosen discipline from elementary education to university education. 

Health sectors, tourism and information technology are some of the sectors that will turn our economy to a destination for foreign investors with adequate investment to improve security because all these will become achievable in a peaceful environment where there Is safety of life and property.

With all these, all hands must be on deck to channel every effort at our disposal to make Nigeria the economic hub of AFRICA.

OBASANJO–THE CONTROVERSIAL ELDER STATEMAN.

Amazing is an understatement when listening to former President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday in Abeokuta after having a close door meeting with one of the factional leader of People’s Democratic Party.It is of importance and utmost necessity to submit that this is a right step in a right direction at the right time.This is the time for all men of good will in Nigeria to champion a course whereby our democracy will have a strong opposition base and presence that will serve as a tool to put the ruling party on their toes.

Advocating for strong Party in power and in opposition is a good intention and a desirable petition from someone of the calibre of President Olusegun Obasanjo which is worthy of applaud and emulation for every progressive that believe in making our democracy better in all ramification.

No doubt about it , the presence of a strong party in power with a strong party in opposition will simply birth the presence of a healthy democracy which has been the yearning of every Nigerian that believe in the emergence of a better Nigeria that can stand at par with what is obtainable in the democracy of other advanced economy.It is until when a strong party is an power is accompanied by a strong opposition party that the dividends of democracy can be a reality.

On the contrary, by referring to what has happened in the time past, President Olusegun Obasanjo will never cease to be controversial in his opinion and submission to issues.There seems to be a deviation from what his ideology and philosophy is when compared with what he displayed and offered while occupying seat of power to what is coming out from his mouth now.Can we assume that he was blind and deaf to the voice of reason while in power or the mundaness of power blindfolded him that he wasn’t allowed to see his mistakes and misdemeanour then? To a large extent, someone can opine that he is doing everything in his capacity to correct all the mistakes he made while in Aso rock because he cannot be left out of the blame of what is on ground now in Nigeria.To an extent he laid the foundation because democracy started with him in 1999, so whatever we have now can be traced to him as the person who started it.

The weakling, suppression, oppression and subjudigation of opposition party was his pet idea when he was in Power.The manner and approach by which he used state power to frustrate the governorship tenure of office of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos State is something that will never vacate our corridor of political history in a jiffy. No one could ever believe that Obasanjo will be the one that will be releasing statement that boils down to asking whether the ruling party is strong or whether the opposition party is strong?

Former President Obasanjo did a good job in releasing this submission but it will not be to the extreme for someone to opine and submit that he is controversial.He would have changed this country for good but he deviated and derailed by shying away from what is necessary to herald the emergence of this country as one of the greatest in the comity of nations across the world.

In conclusion, can it be perfect to describe him as a repentant elder stateman or a controversial elder stateman?

CURBING INSURGENCY AND CRIMINALITY IN NIGERIA.

The recent technical defeat and decimation of Boko Haram and some of its terrorist cells by Nigeria military is commendable and it has been receiving so many kudos across the length and breadth of the country even international communities are not left behind in giving credence and credibility to the success stories recorded by Nigeria military.

No one can doubt the fact that Boko Haram has been defeated technically as it is promised and envisaged by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, though some pockets of attacks are being witnessed in some parts of Nothern Nigeria presently.

 The safe rescue of the Chibok schools girls kidnapped in their dormitory by Boko Haram during the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan remained a challenge and a hard nut to crack by this administration with no one having the inkling about how these girls can be rescued from the claws and dungeon of Boko Haram.

This issue has attracted so many interest in the domestic and international cycle with placard carrying demonstration that swept the entire globe when it happened freshly with the wives of some President lending mouth against this form of inhumanity.It was at this juncture that the group tagged “bring back our girls” was birthed, since then this group has been diligently committed to lending  their voice to influence  the safe release of this girls that have been forcefully taking away from their parents and recorded to have been married to unknown Boko Haram insurgents.Many among these girls have been forcefully married out and forcefully coverted to Islamic faithfuls by Boko Haram terrorists.

It is not a gainsaying that the trend of criminality in Nigeria is alarming, mind blowing and mindboggling which crept into the fabrics of our society gradually in different phases starting as religious riots and demonstrations in the time past.

The North-Eastern part of Nigeria has been known to be the abode of Islamic fanaticism and extremism to an extent because many forms of Islamic extremism have occurred in the past in some parts of Yobe State.

The recent occurrence that led to maiming and massacre with wanton destruction of properties in a higher Institution environ in Zamfara State which ended with the loss of life of about eight people than eight simply signified that Nigeria as a country still has a long way to go in curtailing religious extremism.

With this recent happening, it will be a disservice and a deceit to the intelligence of Nigerians to accept that terrorism has become of thing of the past.With this it can never be an extreme opinion to submit that our dear nation is not yet free from the grip of mental and religious fanatiscm. 

The phases of insurgency in the form of extremism and terrorism started with religious riots and rampages that made  Southerners , westerners and easterner to bear the brunch  of religious excesses and extremism in the time past can be viewed to have been handed lightly by previous administration, even at the onset of the advent of Boko Haram, many influentials, leaders and politicians that belong to the other political divide then gave credence to the onslaught and rampage of Boko Haram by submitting that it is the low ebbed economic situation and unemployment cum famine and hunger in the country that led to people laying hands on arms to bring the Nigerian State down which was some of the statement made to pulled down past administration in other for this new administration to take power from the ruling party then. Many politicians used it a tool to furnish their political rivalry, ego and popularity. 

No doubt about it, this administration has really done fairly in tackling this hydra-headed monster called Boko Haram that remained absolute in the quest to establish an Islamic Caliphate.

It is quite appalling and a shame to the security personnels and paraphernalia in Nigeria reporting the recent arrest of some of the major kingpins of Boko Haram in Nigeria. No right thinking person will believe that these insurgents can be living among other law abiding citizens of this country.At a point we were made to understand and believe in the trans-border migration of this criminals into Nigeria from other neighbouring countries but it is disheartening when it was aired on public daily tabloid about the arrest of these insurgents.This simply connotes that a criminal can be living large on Nigeria soil for long without being traced because if it is not that the tempo of fighting against insurgency was increased by this administration the recent arrest will not have been made possible at all.

Even despite the technical defeat of Boko Haram Insurgents and other forms of criminality in Nigeria, the approach being maximised can be viewed as a means to an  end but not an end in itself.

How can a country  find it difficult to maximise the ease obtainable in the usage of close circuit television camera to tackle criminality and insurgency reasonably? How can a country  lack the political will to have the Biodata of all her citizen?By now, with the gory experience of wanton massacre and butchery of innocent Nigerian, every nooks and crannies of this country ought to have been installed with close circuit television.

There is an urgent need for technological approach to be maximised in stamping down the trend of insurgency and criminality in Nigeria.It is until when the necessary technological approach needed to tackle criminality and insurgency is available and maximised that any progressive mind can rightfully submit and take pride in the technical defeat of Boko Haram and other forms of criminalities. 

The usage of force and military engagement can only offer temporary and immediate solution with high level of collateral damage incurred with human rights violation.It is pertinent for military and political policy makers to approach the tackling of insurgency and other form of criminality by holding up to substance and staying away from chasing shadows.

Some of the approaches that can be channelled towards the reduction in criminality and insurgency are:

1.Nigerian youth must be productively engaged.

2.Sensitisation about the essence of religious tolerance.

3.Nigeria society should be demilitarised because there seems to be an easy means of criminals getting hold of weapons and arms.

4.Human friendly and environmental friendly approach should be used in tackling criminality and insurgency.

5.The fight against corruption must be continuous and permanent. 

Every religious denomination should be encouraged to thread on the path of preaching the pros of religious tolerance and the cons of religious intolerance.Preaching and homily during spiritual gatherings should not be allowed to relegate and make other religion inferior and fake.Sermon that will make the inhabitants of every society united must be preached and aired in all the nooks and crannies of this country. 

There is an urgent need to wield political power that will establish real and true federalism so that every tribe and region will have a sense of belongings in the project of a new Nigeria that is build on service to our father’s land as it was envisioned by our founding fathers in the course of their struggle for independence.

Any form of conscious and unconscious approach targeted to make other region and tribe inferior and less important will end up triggering aggitation and regional affinity for secession.

It is on this aforementioned approach that affinity for insurgency and criminality can efface without combative military engagement.

Why do we spend a great bunch of our time day in day out on trivialities, frivolities and footlings when the main essentials of our existential are left unattended to??

Why do we wave what is important to our life with a bare hand but stick to issues that will pull our neighbours down??

Why is our world  engulfed in hate, oppression , enslavement and subjudigation? ?

Why are we suffering in the midst of abundance??

Why are we less concerned about the plight of the downtrodden? ?

Why are we killing in the name of religion??

Why is it that hunger and abject poverty is the lot of majority and minority are living in extreme wealth??

Why do you dedicate little time to discuss issues that will add to you??

Why do you look down on others when you are not a demi-god??

Why do you assume immortality when the breathe of mortality oozes from your nostrils??

Why are you proud and pompous??

Why do you look down on others??

Why do you treat others like piece of rag??

Why do you act as something when you are nothing??

Why do you pretend??

Why are you a shadow of yourself??

Why do you lie??

Why  are you living a fake life??

Why do you hate??

Why do you kill??

Why are the orphans not catered for??

Why is my world,

Why is your world,

THE MAN OF THE PEOPLE

In this part of the world, it is a known fact that being well to do is an access to oppression of the downtrodden.It is embedded in our culture that once we are better off in any way than the next person sitting by our side, it is expediently expected that the person becomes our subject, slave and subordinate without any itch.Wealth and riches are accosted and accompanied with pride in Africa and it is an acceptable norm for the old generation and it is also acceptable by the new generation.Definitely, this line of thought will be acceptable and glamorised by the next generation.

This article is not designed to praise and eulogise but it has been a subject matter months ago.While in the course of discussion with a colleague about the founder of Facebook visit to People’s Republic of China sometimes ago, we all deliberated on nothing but the simplicity of this great entrepreneurial guru.

His appearance is a wide deviation of what is obtainable in Africa.Once we have started making some few coins in Africa, ego and pride are the next attitude that we put on with praise singers accompany us to wherever we find ourselves.Even our religious and secular leaders  are not left behind in exhibiting this anti -God attitude or trait.

Our religious and spiritual leaders spends a bunch of their time  preaching about humility as it is exhibited  on the pages of all our spiritual books but in reality and practicality, they exhibit a kind of deviation and aberration that makes their homily and preaching invalid and unusable.

Their lifestyle displayed comfort and luxuries in extremism with many fleets of automobiles at their becks and call.

Our secular leaders are also culpable of this misconception that is a direct deviation of the main concept of what leadership is all about but seeing the youth of today treading on this path of putting their subjects and subordinate in bondage is mind boggling and mind blowing.

The young ones are expected to be agents of change in this part of the world but the reverse is the case.Once they have a chair and a table at their disposal in discharging their daily and professional duties, what follow suites is their ego being ballooned and their pride being vulcanised to high heaven and their shoulder being raised up to the ceiling.

The appearance and demeanour of Mark Zuckerberg is enough curriculum available for all our leaders in the secular and spiritual to read and study in order for all to understand that there is a  direct relationship between simplicity and humility.No one can profess simplicity and humility but fond of being a fashionista to the extreme.It is an abberration. 

The wealthy are spending less on buying clothe but the poor believed that appearing gorgeously is synonymous to affluence and wealth.This is untrue because it is a known fact that empty drum makes the loudest noise.The poor spends on trivialities and frivolities but the wealthy spend their resources to the last penny on investment.

Your true  self is not embedded in what you wear but it is confined inside what you have as a resources in your mind.Appearing gorgeously is not an antidote to mediocrity.The antidote to mediocrity has its place in your mind being developed to make an impart in the test of time.

It is not even his entrepreneurial wherewithal and dexterity that I found unfathomable, it is his simplicity and humble demeanour that I am finding difficult to comprehend because this is rare and strange in Nigeria.

Once a swindler or a “yahoo boy”makes some hard currencies illicitly and illegally, the whole town will be painted red, every boutique and club will be patronised in the spending spree and roads will be blocked with streams of ladies having their own share of the national cake.

This is a lesson to all in this part of the world.

It is appalling and disheartening that an atheist is showing us the way of divinity concerning humility and simplicity.

You are my hero and my mentor.

Recently, a trending issue burst out of one of the social media platforms and it keeps spreading like a wild fire across other social media platforms without control and it boiled down to  dearth of understanding and scarcity of deep cerebral wherewithal that is massively on display in  every facet of human existence and endeavor in this generation.The furore generated by this tends towards unending arguments and divergent views about the responsibility of female folks against the responsibility of male folks towards successful marital bliss that is not entirely based on inordinate quest for money and materialism.

Ours is a generation of emptiness and the glamorization of extreme materialism are the major parameters believed to be the yardstick for the exhibition and display of success across every society in this generation.The cosmetic and superficial thought level on exhibition in this era makes the heart bleeds.

 

Confusion is obtainable and can be seen in every cycle of our society, the fabrics of our society keeps pulling apart because of the inordinate quest of this generation for money,mundanes and  materialism which seems to be uncontrollable across every area of human existence.

From every  practical perspective and observation, the usefulness and applications of money can be seen and viewed as a major item that add value to every contents and endeavour.

 

Elementary definition in its simplicity defines money as a medium of exchange for goods and services.This simple and basic definition confirmed the  eternal usefulness of money in the day to day activities of any society including marriage.

 

Even the benefits of money in keeping personal and private  affairs of people running successfully cannot be underestimated in anyway.Multifarious landmark achievements are impossible without the application of  money at one point or the other.Even, it was chronicled and confirmed by a particular portion of the bible that money answers all things.

 

The importance of money can be seen  everywhere around us.No human endeavor, no matter how simple or complex it might be can escape the dictates and influence of money.It influences and add value to a large extent the kind of life we live alongside the quality of our lifestyle.Influence and affluence often times than none can never be separated from the possession of money at our disposal.Even, our society misinterpreted the possession of money as as defining factor of good luxurious and influential life.

 

 

 

 

THE ESSENCE OF MARRIAGE

 One of the major institutions that is as old as the earth itself is the institution of marriage.It is the institution available and designed by GOD to keep humanity enlarging and increasing in population.Basic elementary definition explain marriage as a union between husband and wife.It is covenanted and instituted by GOD for procreation, enjoyment and companionship.It is the contribution from this institution that makes the world what it is today with a population of about 1.7 billion people occupying the surface of the earth.It has been able to uphold one of the first commandment of God that we should increase and multiply without any resistance,and humanity has been able to fulfill this commandment with the statistics of world population irrespective of famine, wars,genocide and terrorism that is trying a lot in pummeling and  decimating world population.No matter the situation available at a particular period, it can be seen that no policy has been able to stop humanity from reproducing and procreating.

 

 

CONFLICTS BETWEEN MONEY AND MARRIAGE.

The recent frequent upsurge and increase arising in the form of misconceptions that tends towards conflict and clash between the essence of money and the essence of marriage is gradually becoming a monster that can be described as an ill wind that will blow no one no good.The rate and speed at which issues of broken marriages obtainable from divorce and separation boiled down to misconceptions of the role of money and it’s influence on marriages to a large extent.

 

From previous aforementioned definition of money and marriage, it can be deduced that both are existing on a parallel line.These are two different things that  are important on their own and they can never be substituted for each other as an alternative.

 

If at creation, God prefers money to marriage, God would have commanded the first woman and the first man to increase in money and produce wealth but that command of producing and increasing given to them simply makes marriage to be quite separate from money.On a practical note , no one can shy away from the effect and importance of money to every human endeavor.

 

No doubt about it, money is important but marriage is far important than money.Often times than none, it is rare seeing a situation whereby money is celebrated openly or publicly with a vow and celebration except in the occultic and ritual cycle but marriages are always sealed with prayers and vows publicly with or without celebration.In the presence of contentment and commitment, marriage can survive the absence of money without any hassle and iota of stress. 

 

It is of essence to note that even though these two can be described as a two parallel lines, experience of life has shown that the two are two important entities that add values to our life, they both gives value to life especially  Africa society gives values and respect to whosoever is successful having both money and marriage. Approach to these two entities must be balanced before anyone can be seen to have a balanced lifestyle.

 

Extremism in obtaining and possessing money has been seen to be the source of many problems humanity is bedeviled with.Extreme approach to the issue of money will make the essence of marriage unattainable and non-achievable. Money is needed for every marriage to be successful but marriage should not be mortgaged or sacrificed for inordinate quest for materialism, any deviation from this will make marriage to be valueless and the essence and role of marriage as one of the institution that build a balanced society will be destroyed.

 

 

 

 
SCRIPTURAL STAND ON MONEY AND MARRIAGE.

It is quite appalling and disheartening getting wind of a trending issue on social media recently that has to do with a particular lady submitting that she can never marry a man that is not on a salary of 200 thousand monthly. This can be seen as  misconception and lack of understanding of what marriage is all about.With these unbending submission, many  married men would have been unmarried if every lady has this orientation.It is of importance to know that there will have been an upsurge of diverse social vices if everybody is holding on to this idea that can be tagged as  anti-social.The adverse effects of this anti-social approach would have surfaced in the society in the form of:

 

1.Many men will turn to desperados in other to make money,

2.Marriage will be an exclusive reserve of the well to do and money bags,

3.Poor men will be deprived of the opportunities to tie the knuptial knot,

4.More mature ladies will be kept on awaiting list even though menopause beckons,

5.It will cause population being decimated with the reduction in working class and the productive class of the population. 

6.Population dependent ratio will be on increase,

7.Productivity will decrease and Inflation might rise.

8.Increase in crime that has to do with rape and sexual perversion

9.Upsurge in the rate of conception out of wed-lock

 

It is common in our society now that when a man is marrying a woman that is unemployed or has no source of income, no one bothers to raise an eye brow to such marital relationship but when a lady introduces her hubby , the next thing from friends, family and familiar is to know whether he has a job or not.This is due to the fact that our cultures believed that it is the work of a man to take good care of his wife.Only God knows who construe such an idea that seems to be ineffective now putting into consideration the recent low ebbed economy being witnessed in all the nations of the world .

 

 

 

IS MONEY A PREREQUISITE FOR A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE?

To an extent, the possession of money and the accumulation of money is a pointer to progress and success in any human endeavour even in the course of marital union, it simply defines and exhibit bliss that is expected to be one of the outcomes of marital union.

On the contrary, it is quite impossible for a successful and blissful marriage to be achieved when the quest for money and materialism outweighs the quest to meet up with other demands of  a successful marriage in terms of dedication and commitment to the covenant of marriage that is eternally binding the partners involved.

For the uptenth time, a successful marriage leverages on abundance of money and other materials if it is available because money and other material can never be an end in itself for the success of a marriage, it is a means to an end not an end in itself.

What triggers marriage is love for one’s partner which must be added to with other virtues that are well known to be the foundation of successful marriage.No marriage can withstand the absence of responsibility, commitment, dedication, respect, mutual understanding and sacrifice.Even in the presence of all the monies in the world, if all these are absent, the marital union is bound to hit the rock.This can be traced to the reason why people that are known to be wealthy in the world are not known to be the only one having blissful and successful marriage but many poor people are on record to have successful marriage.

What makes marriage successful and blissful is not confined inside inordinate quest for money and materialism, it is far beyond items that we can hold with our bare hands, it is resident in our unequal drive to sacrifice the whole fibre of our being to make our marital union a success and something exemplary to others that are looking up unto us as their mentor.

Often times than none, extreme drives and urge to possess money and other materials kill marriage easily and it can be viewed to be the rationale behind broken marriages that are on increase everywhere in the world.

No one who successfully replaced the tenets of marriage with the quest and urge for materialism will ever have a successful marriage.Successful marriages are marriages that are not allowed to be weighed down by the quest for money and the urge for materialism but these are marriages that are built on upholding all the tenets of having successful marriage that rallies around love, dedication, commitment, sacrifice, mutual understanding and the ability to channel the whole resources at our disposal to make the marriage an example and testimony .

 

RELIGIOUS STAND, EFFECT AND SOLUTION.

The non-conforming sociocultural ideology  further entrenched in the fabrics of our society by the new generational preachers of the gospel that are fond of preaching that if anyman cannot take care of his house is worst than an infidel but recent flipping on the pages of the scripture reveals that provision in the house is a joint responsibility of the husband and the wife.This was revealed in the descriptive verse on the meaning of a good or virtuous woman In Proverbs 31.Even from this portion of the scripture, one can see that the largest portion of provision in the home falls on women.

This submission is not premised on the fact that men should be irresponsible in taking care of their home but it is premised as a source of correction and control to the myriads of demonic ideas being preached by many men of God to keep their subjects and subordinates in bondage.

With this trending issue, no wonder the increase in marital breakdown and the inability of many ladies to settle down is on increase and it looked as if GOD has refused to answer their prayer.It is not so.

The reason for the delay in their prayers not being answered can be traced to the content of their mind that is not at par with the plan of God for them.

Preachers of the gospel should tread slowly in passing what is not genuine biblically to their subordinate because it is not a gainsay in that confusion is greatly looming in Christianity. Every Child of GOD should pray for a partner that they will both engage in  taking care of each other not one partner taking the brunch of responsibility while the other is busy with frivolities and gallivanting around with no contribution to the plight of others.

 

 

 

 

 

It is pertinent and important for every child of GOD to meditate on the word of GOD.What makes someone matured in his or her work in Christianity is having personal encounter with God.All the trailblazers in the scripture had personal encounter with God.Abraham, Jacob, David, Joseph, Solomon, Paul, Jona, etc had personal one- on- one  relationship with God not with any man of God.

An itch free walk with God demands taking personal genuine scriptural and spiritual steps with God because GOD wants to know you by your name and call you by your name as GOD called little Samuel by his name when he was living with Prophet Eli. God is never interested knowing you through the taxonomy of your denomination and through your General Overseer.Though , this is necessary for baby Christians but matured Christians needs to have their names on God’s call line in order to enjoy personal one on one conversation with God that is devoid of any human medium.
